Nice spot to check out U.S. military history in a beautifully (and historically) preserved town. Learn how manufacturing occurred long, long ago.
It's amazing the history water power played in the founding of the country.
Historic and hallowed grounds
It looks like a typical riverside park but after reading the information board and seeing a painting depicting the armory in the 1800s, the place suddenly came to life. It would be wonderful to see a replica of the armory at this exact location so visitors can have a feel for the place and what it was like in its heyday.
Well conserved. Very nice for a walk. Great for an afternoon recreation.
