I called a couple of other places before Felgemacher, but obviously we went with them. Doug, the salesman, was the absolute best. He was knowledgeable, professional, and blessedly, on time! The log burner was installed by Sean who was also top notch. The whole process was stress-free. +++

I had Felgemacher repair the top of my chimney as it was badly deteriorated. After having three estimates it was obvious to me that they had the correct remedy for the repair as well as a very competitive price. I have just recently given their name to two other neighbor's who also require work. I told them not to waste their time but just call them for a quote. I would not go to anyone else.
The job was done correctly and looks great !

From the very beginning Felgemacher did not disappoint; their employees and workmanship was outstanding. The repairs to our chimney were completed in a timely manner, and look great. I am sure that the repairs will last for many, many years. I highly recommend Felgemacher for any masonry chimney needs.

Someone answered the phone and was eager to book an appointment for an estimate within a week!
I had Good photos of the damage to the chimney and had a pretty good Idea what the problems were.
No surprises in the discussion of what needed to be done or the price they quoted me.
We scheduled the job within the following week!
They arrived on time on and were warm, personable and informative throughout the three day process. The chimney looks great and so far, no more leaking!

We used Sugarland for our wedding reception summer of 2021 (the weather was stormy but cleared up and cooled the temp down so it was perfect temperature even though it was August). The venue is gorgeous and the food was very tasty! It was so convenient for the wedding party to be able to stay in the houses across the street. I highly recommend choosing this for your wedding! Nancy and her staff were wonderful to work with and incredibly they were able to make all the food garlic-free for me (I'm allergic)!

A comment things going in that I wish I would have known earlier: 1) when you meet with Nancy, be sure that all the details that you discuss is on the quote. There was a minor snafu but she was able to work it out in the moment and I (the bride) didn't know there was an issue to begin with! In hindsight, I should have mentioned that the detail was missing from the quote but I had assumed that she remembered even though she has so many weddings to deal with. 2) They do allow fireworks which was awesome! Be sure that Nancy has added to the contract that they will set them off for you. Day of, the person she said would do it, didn't want to so we had to scramble to find someone to light them off. Thankfully her bar staff came to the rescue!

Overall this place was wonderful in every way possible! A little more organizing/planning better and the event would have been 100% perfect!

PS the sound in the barn is tricky - the people off to the sides of the barn and outside couldn't hear announcements well. You may want to give your DJ a heads up.

The Felgemacher team was fantastic for helping me find and install the right fireplace for my home! They provided great advice on which unit to select based on the space and the look that I wanted to achieve. The installers were professional, thorough, and walked me through all the use instructions. The Felgemacher Shop made the process easy from start to finish. I would highly recommend them.

Very nice place to have a wedding and reception. Vows under a 400 year old tree, reception in a well done up barn, food was great, and service all around was friendly and professional
