Wisconsin Athletic Club

Great gym for the area it serves. It's on the smaller side, and sometimes I do have to wait for equipment, but the staff is incredibly friendly and the facilities are always clean. They also have a lot more to offer than your typical planet fitness so I do believe the membership, even though it's more expensive, is worth it.

Friendly staff, lots of class offerings, but very busy around peak hours. However, even during the busiest times, there are typically squat racks, treadmills, and other equipment available. Convenient location, though I wish there was a little more space (especially when all the multipurpose rooms are in use). The hours could also extend slightly later, as it closes most days around 9pm.

Today was my first time visiting the facility and I was immediately greeted with a friendly face. I asked for a tour and was greeted by a member services worker shortly after. I was shown around the facility, including the kids club, gym, lobby, pool, and locker room area. They have a well maintained facility. Everything was nice and clean. They have a coffee machine in the lobby area with tables to sit at. Sophia, (the person that showed me around) was very very pleasant and helpful throughout this whole process. They have 3 different studios that offer different classes that you can sign up for in the app, and towel service! This place has everything I was looking for and I’m excited to become a regular. Also a plus, when you sign up, they offer 2 free personal training sessions with your membership!

This gym location (North Shore) is very popular, so parking can be difficult during the early morning hours and after work. I am training for a triathlon and this gym can get me to the next level, for sure. There is so much variety for your workout. The patrons are very considerate of the shared space and there are no meatheads that try to dominate the gym. The staff provide top-notch customer service too. Best money that I have spent on a gym in years. You get what you pay for!

12-16-21 Five years later and still love this athletic club. You will see employees cleaning throughout the day to keep the place spotless.
