  When we use our fireplace, we end up with smoke in our basement. This is a drafting problem. To complicate matters, we are selling the house so we won’t be the actual ones paying to fix the problem. We just have to do the research and present the buyer with options.
  
  I told Ken this up front, and he still spent considerable time with me on the phone two different times giving me his professional opinion and sharing his expertise with me and giving me great options to present to the future owner of our home. I can not say enough good things about my experience with Alaskan Fireplace.

  Excellent service. We had an issue with the fireplace they installed almost 5 years ago (well past warranty). We figured we'd have to pay a technician for a service call,, but Ken walked us through it over the phone. Ten minutes later, the problem was solved. Highly recommended.

  Alaskan Fireplace installed a Heatilator Insert in my family's home over a decade ago. Pilot light was on, but would not start. Store owner talked me through simple repair on the phone. Great service at no charge. Highly recommend!
