This trip and tour was absolutely incredible thanks to our amazing guides Zana and Andy! I cannot recommend them enough to help you find adventure in Alaska. We did the jet boat tour and saw beautiful wildlife like salmon and bald eagles and experienced everything being extremely well planned and organized. The sights we saw were breathtaking and our guides went above and beyond- 100/10 highly recommend!

I had a great experience with Alaska Backcountry Access. The Spencer Glacier snowmachine tour was great coming with Ryan our personal guide in addition to the great guides from the company. I liked the rarer to find glaciers that we could only get to from the frozen river and I also liked the snow machine with the heated handles. The best part is we booked last minute when another company canceled our boating tour due to bad weather. We went in whiteout snow storm and they had to guide us by GPS be man did we get it done!

My boyfriend and I cannot have been more impressed with the professionalism and friendly snowmobiling experience we had with Alaska Backcountry Access this past week. We called several companies who did not answer their phones and we had a few questions we wanted answered before we shelled out hundreds of dollars. The owner, Andy answered the phone and we had an extremely informative conversation where I could hear his passion. We instantly chose Alaska Backcountry Access and paid for two snowmobiles at the suggestion of Andy. I was originally going to ride on the back but the experience ultimately would not have been nearly as amazing. The day of, we met Andy’s wife Zana who met us with a smile and the best personality ever! She made sure we were dressed for the weather from head to toe. All of which was provided and included in the experience. Our guide, Andrew was equally as friendly and led us on the adventure of our lifetime. What we saw was absolutely breathtaking. The glaciers and views were stunning. All along we would stop, have interesting conversations and both Andrew and Zana without us asking would take photos to capture our memories. Fast forward to the end of the day and we had lost our rental keys. The entire Alaska Backcountry Access crew stayed with us and made sure the two rookies from California were going to be ok. I’m certain that you too will not be disappointed if you choose Alaska Backcountry Access for a truly amazing snowmobile experience. Thank you all again, Jennifer and Craig

We had a fantastic trip! The snow machines and snow gear were top of the line. The guides were great and knew the area very well. They took us on a great route, ensured we were all safe and was patient with our group. I highly recommend booking with Andy @ Alaska Backcountry Access.

We’ve lived in AK for a couple years, but hadnt gone on a snow machining excursion because most of the companies make you tow the machines out there yourself. Andy and his wife met us in the Portage parking area with the snow machines and gear ready to go! They had snow boots, bibs, helmets, and everything you need for your day out.
We went on a super low visibility day, and Andy offered to go with us even though we hadn’t booked a tour in advance. We couldn’t have made it to the glacier without him! Great accommodating service all the way around. I’ll be booking with them again!
