When I first called Dr. Westenburg I was very upset as I was saying goodbye to my best friend, an almost 12 year old English Bulldog (Bowser).
Dr. Westenburg is an older gentleman, and in my emotional state what I mistook as a bit of a grouchy personality was just him not being able to hear me very well. My wife called him later and said he was very kind, and then when he arrived he was absolutely wonderful. He explained everything he did, he was kind and gentle to my best buddy, and he gave my family a lot of space and time to say goodbye. My other dog Riley (who is very large) was being protective of Bowser, but Dr. Westenburg was calm and within a few seconds Riley realized he was there to help us. Losing a pet is horrible, but I'm so glad I chose Dr. Westenburg. I can't recommend him highly enough.
I cannot thank Dr. Westenburg enough for the care he provided for my precious dog. He was extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. On one of the most difficult days of my life (saying goodbye to my beloved friend), I’m glad that Dr. Westenburg was there to give my dog a dignified and comfortable passing.
Dr. Westenberg is so incredibly calm, gentle, and kind. He made letting go of our elderly the best experience it could be. Highly recommend!
It is difficult to say you've had a positive experience when you've had to let go of your beloved cat. However, I can truly say that Dr. Westenburg gave us the best last moments with my girl Givenchy, in her own familiar surroundings and peaceful atmosphere. It was very reassuring that Dr. Westenburg could come to our home and allow my Givenchy to go in the comfort of my arms and to not have her go through the terrifying car ride to a scary clinic at the end of her life. Dr. Westenburg was very kind, gentle, and compassionate and I would like to thank him for helping me through this heart wrenching event.
This Man is a Wonderful Person. He came to our home today to euthanize my sick 17 year old cat. He has a very soothing and pleasant demeanor for both the pet and the pet owners. I would highly recommend this "GOOD Man" and his services to anyone.
