Tahoe House Hotel

An amazing hotel. Felt like we stepped back in time. Such beauty and comfort. The owner Paul was kind and I felt like he rolled out the red carpet to each guest.

We greatly enjoyed our second visit to Tahoe House in Virginia City. Rooms are neat, clean, and decorated with antiques to fit the Virginia City vibe. Paul and Tatiana are graciously welcoming and will help you get the most out of your stay. Would love to visit again.

This is our second stay at Tahoe House and I can say we are loyal for life! We have had two incredible experiences here. We stayed in the carriage house which was STUNNING! Do yourself a favor (especially if you have children) and book the carriage house it was worth every penny. Paul the owner is so sweet and welcoming as always and Tatyana and I didn't catch the other girls name at the bar were SO sweet and hospitable. They have added so many amazing new drinks to their menu since we were here 2 years ago so I would definitely give it a try. If you are in Virginia City this is absolutely the place to stay!

What a joy this place was! Paul the owner is so welcoming and sweet. Everyone who works there I can say the same about. The rooms are darling, there is a bar with a beautiful room to hang out in or you can go out on the balcony and over look the strip. My husband and I can't wait to come back.

I loved staying at the Tahoe House Hotel! Mostly because the owner, Paul, is so wonderful and hospitable. He went out of his way to make sure my husband and I had everything we needed for our trip. The rooms are small and basic since it's historic so we needed things that weren't in the room and Paul went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed such as ice chest and ice, iron and ironing board, hangers and something to hang clothes on, and extra towels. Also, since I'm gluten free he got me gluten free muffins for the continental breakfast, which was SO thoughtful.
I would definitely recommend staying here. You'll have a great time and it's in prime location right off the main street.
