I’ve had several ultra sounds, a biopsy & a mammogram done here. In addition, I had a procedure done by this place on the day of my surgical lumpectomy. I cannot stress enough how gentle the staff is, including the nurses and doctors! I BARELY felt any needle. I barely felt any pressure or pull during my mammogram! The scar was so minimal it looked like a freckle. I always get the doctor and nurses undivided attention and it provides me so much comfort. I HIGHLY recommend!

After I received a call to come back for a follow-up to my annual mammogram, I was anxious and had lots of questions. I was scheduled quite quickly, but in the meantime was reassured by a phone call with Gina. As luck would have it, she did my follow-up exam and was warm, reassuring and very professional. I have always been impressed by the efficiency, friendliness and consideration of all the Center professionals. Thanks so much.

I had an appointment for a mammogram. Unfortunately, I confused my dates and showed up a day early. I was informed that insurance doesn't usually cover the cost if it's been less than a year. It was exactly a year to date since my last screening. So I decided to call my insurance company to make sure it would be covered. Once I received an ok, I went back in to see if they could get me in somehow. . . and they did!!! I was appreciative of the fact that I didn't need to drive all the way home only to turn around and go back the following day. Of course, everything from there on was top-notch! They made a not so pleasant experience, that much easier.

I came online specifically to leave a recommendation and review of the Latham office. You should make it easier for your patients to do so right on your page ♡
Unfortunately, I recently found myself sitting in their office, still a little dazed and confused as to how I ended up there - as the curve balls of life sometimes lead us to places we couldn't previously imagine.
My very 1st interaction was a phone call to schedule both a mammogram and an ultrasound but the wording of the order was not clear so the young lady wanted to make sure everything was set up correctly to be done together. She called me back and set me up without any issues.
My initial visit was unexpectedly easy. I had barely any wait. The staff that greeted me weren't just professional and helpful but they were also extremely friendly and helpful. The 2nd waiting room is comfortable and inviting.
I had previously had a mammogram for baseline and screening reasons but this was a little different because it was diagnostic and a wee bit more uncomfortable. The woman (I'm terrible with names ... look at my file and insert her name for acknowledgement!) who did my images on both machines was great. We had a good time, as good times go when having your breast smooshie lol I then had an ultrasound done and was told I had to come back for a few biopsies. The appointment which didn't end as I'd hoped it would was still a good appointment -
Yesterday, I went back to have the biopsies. Entrance to exit the entire process was exceptional. There was such great energy among your team members - let's be honest, when someone is going into a procedure to biopsy 3 different sites, they aren't usually leaving with a smile but I did! Everything was explained to me in simple language before it began and the doctor didn't do anything without telling me what was about to happen. They made sure I was completely numb and when I wasn't they gave me more novacaine. I actually expected to cry my way through it but instead spent the time cracking jokes with them. They made a very scary situation turn out absolutely fine, I've actually had a worse time shoe shopping than I did having a biopsy gun clicking away inches from my face.
The reason for this review and the length of it (I'm sorry) is because I have a pretty extensive medical back story with plenty of experience dealing with medical professionals. I have kidney disease (those biopsies are fun!) I've been through chemo treatments for that. I have had multiple blood clots in my lungs at the same time and spent more than my fair share of time in the ICU, the medication for that alone requires a lot of time at labs. In the 25 yrs since I first got very sick with my kidneys and all the various fun along the way ....
I have NEVER, EVER had such a positive or encouraging interaction with any person or medical team as I have had with this office! I didn't feel like a number, or a pending insurance claim or just another patient to process. Everyone was warm, welcoming and extremely sweet and comforting during a difficult time. I cannot say enough positive things about them.
From the bottom of my heart I want to say THANK YOU!! I know that as a profession "it's just what you do" - but you do it so very, very well.
