This is my mother's 3rd care facility that she has lived in over the past 11 years & is hands down the best. Wish we would have found this place from the start. I have a critical eye when it comes to service &/or care & I am delighted to say that Harbor Campus not only meets the needs of it's residents but it exceeds them. From the care givers, to the activites, to the safety precautions taken, I highly recommend this facility & understand how important 'real' reviews are. This is a 'real' review-I don't take my mother's care lightly. Trust me when I say you can be rest assured with your parent living here. Attached is a photo of a singer performing for the residents that says it all. The majority of them are sitting around the corner out of camera angle but they were smiling ear to ear. Thank you HC for taking such great care of my favorite person in the world.

I have been meaning to write a review for Harbor Campus for quite awhile.
We love Harbor Campus, and as her POA, especially me.
We moved my mom into Harbor in August 2021.
The short version of what I’m writing is I’d recommend this place 10 out of 10 for care.
The staff has far less turnover than any other place I’ve been in so they know the residents.

Before moving to Harbor we had a long experience at a place in Glendale that turned out to be a bad fit for my mom’s. I am sure this happens. It was too large and with her slightly rapid decline into dementia it was tense for them and us.
I needed to move my mom… I listened to friends and asked them where their parents were….

I had a friend that kept praising what a great care team they had at Harbor Campus and that her mom-in-law was in memory care there.
I decided Port Washington could be worth the drive for me so I took a tour, applied and got in.
My mom is one of your sassier varieties and doesn’t make friends easily so I had to make sure the staff was able to help her even if she wasn’t at her best. They have from day one, taken so much care with her. They understand personalities and how dementia can present and immediately made it clear to me it would be a good fit and that it would be okay
(even when my mom started calling 911 a few nights in a row to get her remote back—-that she hid! They didn’t have harsh words AT ALL).. I have since replaced her phone with an incoming only line as my mom likes to chat with me and my sister.
I was able to have my mom accessed better and she is now less nervous day to day.
Also in our case, I had to recently get my mom on financial assistance and they assured me she would not have any changes to her care, and it is true.

I am thankful for Harbor Campus as I can now relax knowing my mom is being cared and watched out for.
My mom is now in memory care there(the Cove) and it’s important that it’s not too large of an area or the residents can be intimidated or scared if they can’t find their way around.

We love the daily activities they do with the residents in that wing. Mostly on site but not always.
I have been invited on outings with activities director Kathy and staff and sat on the bus as a helper for my mom as we took some gentle outings and we all came back beaming.
My mom has significant sundowners at times, so having a place that she won’t get lost in is EVERYTHING. She can walk outside her room and sit in a recliner and watch Netflix. She can look to the left of her room and see where she’ll be eating and see the nurses station always staffed with caregivers.
If I could say one more thing: my mom loves the daily desserts at Harbor Campus. :)

My Parents have been living at Harbor Campus in Assistant Living for 1 year now.
I can honestly say that from the very first day they moved in I have felt comfortable and relaxed with our choice of new home for this next part of their life.
I'm always so Happy to see the friendliness and care my Parents are given, they Enjoy the fun interaction with the Nurses, Caregivers and all the Employees.
There's a feeling of Family there.
I realize that the good care comes from the Heart and I see this in so many at Harbor Campus.
Thank you to everyone who Enjoy their job of caring for and being part of peoples lives. You will never know how much your appreciated.

Capri Harbor Campus has been wonderful for my father! The staff is caring and interested in the residents. There are so many activities everyday and my father has become very social instead of spending time alone until we could visit in the evenings. He is happy and we know he is well cared for. Thank you to all the staff at Capri Harbor Campus!
